We are 40 minutes drive from both the provincial cities of Macerata, the provincial capital of Le Marche and Ascoli Piceno. Macerata at the foothills of the Abruzzi mountains is a marvellous historic town offering an annual international Opera festival in July and August in the Arena Sferisterio with its enchanting ambience you can enjoy performances from Verdi, Puccini and others. Ascoli Piceno is well worth a visit with its historical theatres, museums, beautiful Churches and much more. Relax in the wonderful Piazza del Popolo (People’s Square). If visiting in July and August you can see The Joust of the Quintana the most important historical re-enactments in the entire region of the Marche. Just a 45 minute drive eastward through the stunning countryside you can visit the beautiful Adriatic coastal resort of Porto San Giorgio, perfect for walks along the harbour, a blue flag beach, a vibrant market on Sunday and of course top quality sea food restaurants.
